John McDougall

I’ve been Chair of the Voice Technologies Board since December 2017. Alongside this role, I hold Director and Chair positions across a range of market-leading organisations in sectors including healthcare, construction, education, events and music. I’m also an Honorary Professor of Business at Glasgow Caledonian University and have previously served on the Court of the University of the West of Scotland.

Supporting and mentoring young people has always been important to me, and I was honoured to receive the Youth Business International Mentor of the Year Award in 2011, as well as to act as a National Awards Judge for the Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust. At Voice Technologies, I bring a broad perspective and a strong belief in responsible leadership, long-term thinking and supporting people to succeed.
