John McDougall

John was appointed Chair of the Board in December 2017.

He holds Director and Chair roles at several market-leading companies involved in healthcare, construction, education, events and music. He is an Honorary Professor of Business at Glasgow Caledonian University and has been a member of the Court of University of the West of Scotland.

John’s keen interest in supporting young people led to him winning the Youth Business International Mentor of the Year Award 2011 (15,000 entries) and being National Awards Judge for the Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust.
