Voice Technologies congratulates Microsoft on acquisition of speech recognition software specialists Nuance

Microsoft has announced that it will buy speech recognition software company Nuance in a deal due to be completed by the end of 2021.

As a part of the Microsoft Partner Network and a Nuance Elite partner, Voice Technologies looks forward to seeing Nuance’s technology used in Microsoft’s health-care cloud products.

James McPherson, CEO of Voice Technologies, congratulated both companies commenting: “Bringing together strategic partners will move technology in healthcare forward. Nuance's latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) developments in speech and clinical understanding combined with the technology that Microsoft can provide makes for a truly exciting future which Voice Technologies looks forward to being part of."
