A Paisley headquartered software company, Voice Technologies, has announced a series of promotions and an increase in team numbers to support the growth of the company following a successful 2019.

The employee-owned firm has promoted three managers to director roles since the start of the year: Martyn Ross has been appointed Business Development Director, Marc McCall takes up the post of Project Director and Colin Wood is promoted to Technical Director.

The team has been further bolstered by an additional three new appointments: Chris Thomson takes up the post of Account Manager, Michael Johnstone has been appointed as Service Desk Manager, and Kris Sinclair joins the web development team.

Voice Technologies, which also has a base in Sheffield, creates innovative software solutions in information and mobile workflow, speech recognition and digital dictation to help organisations in the legal, human resources and healthcare sectors to reduce the time and cost of correspondence and form-filling.

This year will also see the company upgrade its end-to-end document creation and distribution web-based application, WinVoiceWeb, to align with NHS Scotland implementing Office365 across all its Scottish sites.

CEO James McPherson, said, “Thanks to a number of initiatives, many prompted by employees, 2019 saw Voice Technologies experience a significant increase in our bottom line. As a result, we have re-invested heavily in developing both our people and our technology – ensuring that we continue to offer our customers the best possible value in voice technology software."
