Apprentice joins Voice Technologies’ team
We are pleased to announce that the latest apprentice to join Voice Technologies’ ranks is Daniel Fountain who became a member our service desk team in July via the QA Apprenticeship programme.
A student on the Information Technology and Telecommunications Professionals Level 8 SCQF (Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework) course, Daniel is combining work and study. The rigorous two-year course is workplace-focused with coursework being submitted in the form of essays throughout the year. Classroom learning takes place too with modules including Windows Server 2012, security and virtualisation. Daniel will be scored on observations by his college assessor and feedback from Callum McGowan, Service Desk Manager at Voice Technologies.
Callum commented, “The QA Apprenticeship programme has been a great success for us in the past with several key members of staff all starting via this programme, including myself, our projects team manager, sales team manager and four out of the six members of the service desk team that Daniel has joined. I’m confident Daniel will continue this success.”
