Internal promotion benefits clients and company
As an employee-owned organisation, Voice Technologies places a great deal of emphasis on staff learning and development. This often leads to internal promotions which contribute to high levels of job satisfaction and staff retention. Clients benefit too as in-depth knowledge about their organisation, challenges and requirements is retained in the company over the long term.
A good example is the recent promotion of Callum McGowan to our Service Desk Manager role. Callum says, “I am pleased to take another step in my development with my promotion to the manager role, and look forward to not only progressing my own career but working with the team as a whole to develop and improve.”
Callum’s position was vacated by Jason Semple, a graduate of Glasgow Caledonian University who joined Voice Technologies in 2012. Having been part of the busy Service Desk team and being promoted to Service Desk Manager in 2015, he has now progressed to a project management role which will involve delivering large scale projects through to completion.
Jason says, “I am very grateful for the career opportunities at Voice Technologies and have had the pleasure of meeting some great people, both colleagues and customers.”
