Our User Conference 2016 took place on 10th November at the Golden Jubilee Hotel in Glasgow, bringing NHS customers together with staff from across Voice Technologies. The day provided the ideal open forum for both to exchange ideas and updates.
Voice Technologies’ Chairman, Alan McDonald, and CEO, James McPherson, welcomed delegates, stressing that this was their opportunity to discuss the challenges they face day-to-day so that solutions can be found using Voice Technologies’ expertise in digital dictation, e-forms, file sharing and speech recognition. As Alan emphasised: “Our focus is on you, our customers. I can’t think of any product we have developed over my time that hasn’t started out as a way of helping one of you resolve an issue.”
Delegates heard about recent case studies from deployments at The Walton Centre, Liverpool, and NHS Dumfries & Galloway and then moved on to break-out sessions focusing on three key products: FormStream, our e-form application, WinVoicePro, our document creation and workflow management application, and Speech Recognition software.
Staff gave in depth demonstrations of the applications, answered delegates’ questions and noted their suggestions for follow-up.
All agreed that the event was the ideal platform to inform the continuous improvement of the products and services we offer. Many clients took the opportunity to give feedback about their reasons for choosing to work with Voice Technologies and comments centred around the company’s technical know-how, its agility and speed in tackling their issues, as well as the consistently high levels of customer service.
Philips kindly provided sponsorship and gave the delegates an insight into their latest production developments.
The day rounded off with an awards ceremony and prize giving.
We look forward to making next year’s User Conference even bigger and better!
