New Chairman of the board Alan MacDonald brings experience and a knowledgeable hand to Voice Technologies.

We are excited to welcome Alan MacDonald as the new Chairman of the board of Voice Technologies.  Alan has over 20 years of experience as a solicitor and has held directorships on the boards of numerous companies and organisations.

Alan’s posts currently include acting as non-executive director of the Mental Health Tribunal Scotland Administration and chair of their audit committee and he was formerly vice-chairman of Scottish Enterprise Renfrewshire and chair of their audit committee. His blend of experience in both the legal and health sectors means he can bring valuable expertise to our digital dictation and speech recognition business, and we anticipate continued growth under his chairmanship.

“I have been offered a number of positions previously,” says Alan, “but what appeals to me about joining Voice Technologies is their professionalism and strategic vision. I was impressed with the direction the company was headed, and hope to support their growth and offer guidance as chairman of the board.”
