Edinburgh, Scotland, March 1st – This year’s eHealth Scotland conference will play host to some of the country’s latest and greatest technologies for healthcare. We have been invited to return and present our applications which have already generated significant savings.
Happily, the conference is returning to the breath-taking Our Dynamic Earth Centre in Edinburgh, directly across from the Holyrood buildings. The Centre provides a wonderful backdrop to what we expect to be a very inspiring and interesting day for all attendees.
A little bit of background:
The event will be centred on the Scottish Government’s ambitious six year eHealth Strategy intended to harness the benefits of technology for the support and provision of healthcare. The 2011 strategy follows these six high-level aims:
- Supporting people to communicate with the NHS
- Contributing to care integration
- Improving medicine safety
- Enhancing the availability of information for staff
- Providing clinical and other local managers with the management information they need to inform their decisions
- Maximising efficient working practices
Over the course of the day, we will be holding a workshop in the main hall, demonstrating some of the benefits which digital dictation and speech recognition offers – specifically when combined with WinVoicePro. If you’re not already using WinVoicePro, take a look. Remember, NHS Scotland has already paid for it – in other words, it’s free! Please stop by and have a chat with our team who will be happy to answer any of your questions and give you hands-on experience of our solutions.
The conference is free to attend for the NHS and many other bodies, please book online asap as spaces will run out quickly.
